Best Practice
When undertaking/specifying any project W3Quest will assess it based on:
- Does the functionality requested conform to our best practice approach? OR
- Will the functionality require origination and bespoke scripting?
The decision of bespoke or best practice will affect the way W3Quest deal with the task, this can relate to price, specification, testing procedures and the staff employed. It is often the case that a project will contain elements of each.
The ultimate aim is to not have to "re-invent the wheel". W3Quest hold a large resource of proven functionality and we seek to utilise it in order to increase the speed of implementation and ensure that our solutions are feature rich and consistent.
Advantages of best practice: In brief, best practice means better solutions at competitive costs. Whether it’s an e-commerce site,
a corporate site with registration, content managed news or an email newsletter package we have a proven solution ready for you.
But this approach doesn’t compromise the look of the site – the framework will allow for any design style to be incorporated and is flexible enough to make your site unique and individual.
In addition, with less time taken on development we can concentrate on an improved customer service, making sure you are aware of progress at every step of the way.
Finally, if your site requires sections which are bespoke and outside of our library then these can be developed separately by W3Quest and integrated into the final package.
W3Quest best practice allows for:
- Unique design (with generic functionality)
- Consideration for accessibility (RNIB, Bobby)
- Integration with W3Quest's in-house content management solutions
- Fast download (HTML orientated)
- Search engine friendly (using Metadata)
- Consistency across sections
Full scalability and future proofing.
