System Requirements
Microsoft CRM is the first business solution delivered by Microsoft that has been built from the ground up on .Net technology. This makes it the most advanced and easily integrated product in its class. It does however require you to be running later editions of Microsoft’s operating systems and server software.

Microsoft CRM 1.2 Hardware Requirements
Computer/Processor: Dual 700 MHz or higher Intel Pentium (Xeon PIII) or compatible CPU minimum. Dual 1.8 GHz Pentium (Xeon P4) is recommended.
Memory: 512 MB of RAM
Hard disk: SCSI with hardware RAID 5
Network card: 10/100 megabit

The computer running Microsoft CRM must also have access to computers in the same Active Directory domain running:

Active Directory configured in native mode.
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 with the latest service pack and the latest updates.
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 with the latest service pack.

Except in the case of using Microsoft Small Business Server, Microsoft CRM Server may coexist on the same computer as either Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft Exchange Server, but this configuration is not recommended.

Microsoft CRM Web Application Software Requirements

Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, Microsoft Windows 2000 (Server or Professional) with the latest service pack, Microsoft Windows XP (Professional or Home) with the latest service pack, or Windows Server 2003 (Web, Standard, or Enterprise)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1

Microsoft CRM-Exchange E-Mail Router

Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (or Advanced Server) with the latest service pack, or Windows Server 2003 (Web, Standard, or Enterprise)
Also install the following applications:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server with the latest service pack
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1
The following components are required and are installed during Microsoft CRM-Exchange E-Mail Router installation:
